Morphological description

Low, succulent shrub, up to ± 120 mm tall. Leaves somewhat sickle-shaped, 20-30 x 5-6 mm, grey. Flowers solitary, in threes or 7 per inflorescence, up to 30 mm diam., pale pink to white. South Africa, Northern Cape, Namaqualand Sandveld. Nuttabooi Kleinzee, Nuttabooi mining area approximately 40km from Kleinzee on the Springbok road.

General notes: On moderate W facing slope of small koppie on S bank of Buffels River. Lowland Succulent Karoo. Quartz & gneiss. Well-drained, loam, stony, rocky soil. W aspect. Moderate slope (10-45). Full sun. No biotic effect seen. Decumbent to cushion forming dwarf leaf, succulent woody shrublet, 0.2 m. No flowers at all. De Beers Nuttabooi Survey, between Plot 1 & 2 , a walkabout plant.
