General notes: Fynbos biome. Cliff face. Well-drained, bare rock, baserock. Sandstone. Partial shade. Steep slope. S aspect. No biotic effect seen. Succulent. Petals magenta, cone with white base and magenta tips. Anthers cream. Leaves fat, boat-shaped. Rounded shrub. Flowers and fruit present. Plant height 0.30 m. Fairly common on coastal sandstone cliffs.
