Morphological description

Fruits with 5 locules, with closing body. Rounded shrublet, branches erect or sprawling, to 25 cm. Leaves trigonous, with sharp keels, to 20 x ±5 mm. General notes: Fynbos biome. Cliff face. Well-drained, bare rock, baserock. Sandstone. Partial shade. Steep slope. S aspect. No biotic effect seen. Succulent. Petals magenta, cone with white base and magenta tips. Anthers cream. Leaves fat, boat-shaped. Rounded shrub. Flowers and fruit present. Plant height 0.30 m. Fairly common on coastal sandstone cliffs.

Flowers present, petals and cone pink. Fruit present. Anthers white. Uncommon. Often amongst low thicket elements. Enon conglomerates. Plant height: 0.2 m.
