  • Stamens : 2 or 3 fertile, 2 sterile
  • Ovary sessile, 2- or 3-locular; style filiform, shortly 2- or 3-fid at apex
  • Fruit drupaceous
  • Seeds with or without distinct endosperm
  • x = 12 (1 report, polyploidy)
