  • Stamens 6; filaments without appendages
  • Ovary with 2-10 ovules
  • Fruit a circular or ovate, compressed silicula; valves flat or ± inflated, faintly reticulately veined
  • Seeds compressed, narrowly winged; cotyledons accumbent
  • x = 6 (aneuploids, polyploidy)
