Description :

  • Perennial herbs with woody base; stems procumbent, glabrous, distinctly ribbed
  • Leaves slender, much dissected, 3-pinnate to multifid, ultimate lobes nearly terete, oblong to filiform
  • Flowers in terminal, bracteate, multi-rayed umbels on long peduncles
  • Calyx small, with narrowly triangular teeth
  • Petals obovate, subemarginate, with inflexed tips, yellow
  • Disc shortly conical
  • Styles slender, much longer than petals
  • Fruit roundish ovate, subterete, crowned with stylopodium and spreading styles; mericarps with 5 wing-like ridges, wings thick, corky, undulate; oil ducts 6, 4 in the furrows and 2 on face
