  • Sepals and petals linear-lanceolate, free petals connivent with base of lip
  • Lip lanceolate, with long tapering spur
  • Gynostemium short and thick, with short column-foot; anther operculate, incumbent; pollinia 2, each attached by short stipe to large viscidium
  • Capsule narrowly ovoid, dehiscing by means of single fissure
