South Africa is one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries, and biodiversity remains central to jobs, food and water security, and climate resilience.
NBA 2025 brings together the work of more than 490 experts, offering clear evidence on the pressures facing ecosystems and species, as well as areas where management and restoration efforts are improving.
NBA 2025 supports national and global biodiversity commitments and provides a vital blueprint for coordinated action across sectors.
