Morphological description

Stem erect, simple or branched; branches spreading, simple, hairy; leaves linear, acuminated, hairy and ciliated; flowers subsessile, glomerate, terminal; bracteae leafy, longer than the flowers; tube of calyx ovoid, hispid; lobes acuminate, long; capsule ovoid, terete, valves erect, twice shorter than their base. Plant branching and rebranching at the base, from seed after fire, leaves hairy, alternate and linear, plant hairy, hairs on little teeth on margins of leaves.
