Morphological description

Tuberous geophyte to 25 cm. Leaves pinnatisect with elliptic pinnae, to 13 x 5 cm. Flowers to 25 on branching peduncles, ± 15 mm diam., purple-black, white to pale pink, subsessile, petals ribbon-shaped; hypanthium 8-20 mm long. From: Vorster, PJ. 2012.
