General notes: Alt. 600 m. Wet W-facing, fairly gentle slope, with mainly restio & E. hispidula. Slight perfume. Colour variations marked among bushes, even on some bush. White to purple.

General notes: Alt. 350 m. Very localised stand, only one seen, of ±7 plants, in disturbed, loamy soil with quartzitic sand and gravel. Plants single-stemmed, erect, well-branched, up to 500 mm tall, in full bloom. Flowers tubular-campanulate, finely hairy, slightly sticky, pale pink. Growing in assoc. with Erica curviflora and Erica multumbellifera in entirely transformed vegetation. Dense Pinus, Acacia and Eucalyptus infestation and earth-moving. Kogelberg Sandstone Fynbos on contact with Elgin Shale Fynbos.
