Morphological description

Plants up to 1.5 m high, with wiry stems; leaf-lamina linear, sometimes villous over the entire upper surface, with closely re volute margins covering the lower surface; capitula 8-10 mm wide, rotundate; flowers 4-4.5 mm long; fruit about 4 mm long, orbicular, glabrous.
