Small tree or shrub, 1.0-4.5 m high. Leaf blades small, shorter than 60 mm, hairy only on main veins beneath, tertiary venation not very evident beneath. Stipule lobes short, not long-attenuate at apex. Flowers solitary or in few-flowered cymes. Calyx lobes 3.5-6.5 mm long, 0.8-2.5 mm wide, claw part widened at base. Fruit 8-12 mm long.
