Morphological description

Leaves distinctly fused, old leaves forming a dry sheath around new set of leaves. Slender shrublet to 25 cm. Leaves slender, erect, with a recurved bristly tip, margins and keel finely hairy, green, 13 mm long. Flowers on pedicels to 20 mm long, purplish, 10 mm diam. From: Klak, C. 2012. General notes: Prince Albert shale. Moderate slope. Plant height: ± 3 - 5cm. Forming loose clumps with grey-green leaves. Fruit tinged red. Flowers absent. Common in spots.
