Folia suborbicularia, 3-5 mm longa, 4-6 mm lata, basi truncata vel leviter subcordata, 5-7-lobulata, lobulis triangularibus dentiformibus acutis, utrinque puberula, margine tenuiter ciliata. Flores solitari-axillares. Pedicelli 12-18 mm longi, folio multo longiores, basi parum puberuli, ceterum glabri. Hypanthium campanulatum, puberulum; lobi calycis anguste triangulares, acuti, integri, 1 mm longi. Corolla alba, 6-8 mm longa, glabra, tubo cylindrico angustissimo 4 mm longo, lobis fere aequalibus, obovato-oblongis, subacutis, 2 superioribus extus setis paucis. Antherarum tubus videtur inclusus, pallidus, vix 1 mm longus, basi circum puberulus, inferiores apice bisetosae. From: Wimmer, FE. 1953. Campanulaceae-Lobelioideae II. A decumbent, densely and minutely pubescent, branched herb. Petioles 2–10 mm long. Leaves suborbicular, 3–5 mm long, 4–6 mm wide, truncate or slightly subcordate at the base, 5–7-lobed with triangular, tooth-like, acute lobes, puberulent on both surfaces, and finely ciliate at the margin. Flowers solitary and axillary. Pedicels 12–18 mm long, much longer than the leaves, sparsely puberulent at the base, otherwise glabrous. Hypanthium campanulate, puberulent; calyx lobes narrowly triangular, acute, entire, 1 mm long. Corolla white, 6–8 mm long, glabrous, with a very narrow cylindrical tube 4 mm long and nearly equal obovate-oblong, subacute lobes, the two upper lobes with a few external setae. Anther tube apparently included, pale, scarcely 1 mm long, puberulous at the base, the lower anthers bicuspidate at the apex. [Translated with Google Gemini 1.5 (21/01/2025)] From: Wimmer, FE. 1953.
