Morphological description

Habitat

The entire area is characterized by dry, hot summers and scanty rain during the winter months. Subsp. antidysentericum grows in mountainous habitats. Distribution

Subsp. antidysentericum has been collected in the southern part of Namibia but its main centre of distribution is in the district of Springbok, Namaqualand.
