Morphological description

Twining, tuberous geophyte. Leaves petiolate, ternate to biternate, lobes lanceolate, sometimes linear-lanceolate not toothed. Flowers copious in upper axils, bilabiate, laterally slit, white inside with purple markings, mauve outside, 10-12 mm long, stamens 6-7 mm, all or 2 anthers bearded. From: Phillipson, PB. 2012.
