Felicia clavipilosa Grau subsp. transvaalensis Grau
NE Indigenous

Morphological description

From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. [All rights reserved]

Shrub, up to 0.6 m high. Leaves lanceolate to oblanceolate, up to 6 mm broad, pubescent. Involucral bracts imbricate, in 3 or 4 rows, up to 5 mm long. Achenes shortly hairy. Flowers white. From: Retief, E; Herman, PPJ. 1997. Plants of the northern provinces of South Africa: Keys and diagnostic characters. Strelitzia 6: 1-681. National Botanical Institute, Pretoria. [CC BY]

Diagnostic description

From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. [All rights reserved]

Habitat

Sandy soil or hilllsides. From: Retief, E; Herman, PPJ. 1997. Plants of the northern provinces of South Africa: Keys and diagnostic characters. Strelitzia 6: 1-681. National Botanical Institute, Pretoria. [CC BY]

Distribution

From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. [All rights reserved]
