Felicia tenella (L.) Nees subsp. cotuloides (DC.) Grau
LC Indigenous Endemic

Morphological description

Filago tenella subsp. cotuloides is the most delicate of the taxa included within F. tenella, reaching up to 20 cm, usually profusely branched to the apex with lax foliage, often intensely reddish and densely covered in relatively large stalked glands. Leaves are narrowly linear and slightly succulent. Capitula are small, often only 2 mm in diameter (excluding ligules), with short style branches (to 0.3 mm) and a pappus of up to 1.5 mm long bristles, more strongly toothed basally and tapering apically. Phyllaries are obtuse, scarcely narrowed to a narrow apex. [Translated with Google Gemini 1.5 (21/01/2025)] From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. [All rights reserved]

From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. Distribution

From: Grau, HRJ. 1973. Revision der gattung Felicia (Asteraceae). Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 9: 195-705. [All rights reserved]
