Morphological description

Resprouting shrub to 2.5 m. Leaves digitately 3-foliolate, leaflets oblong, laterals gibbous, glabrescent; stipules ciliate. Perennial, resprouting shrub, up to 2 m high. Leaves trifoliolate. Leaflets: medial ones obovate-cuneate; lateral ones shorter and very unequal sided, glabrescent, recurved mucronate; prominently nigro-punctate in dried specimens. Stipules small and ciliate.
