Diagnostic description

Two varieties of Senna multijuga are commonly cultivated. They differ only in stipule morphology and in their native ranges. Unfortunately, the stipules are caducous and not often seen on dried specimens. From: Luckow, M. 1996. The cultivated species of Cassia, Senna and Chamaecrista (Leguminoseae). Baileya 23: 195-241.
