Erect or prostrate annual, up to 30 mm tall. Leaves flat, with bladder-cells along margins. Flowers yellow, stigmas basally connate forming a style, style broadening from base towards top, appearing funnel-shaped. Fruit breaking into mericarps, seed bags filling locule, seeds 2 per locule.
