Morphological description

Branched shrub, ± 500-600 mm tall, with densely leafy branches. Leaves recurved to reflexed, linear, copiously toothed. Flowers in dense or elongate spikes, white with yellow spots, anthers subsessile, calyx glabrous. Fruit ovoid-ellipsoid, swollen on 1 side, of 2 unequal mericarps, upper one shield-shaped.
