In planta fera dormiente rami dense conferti abbreviati, e caudice crasso lignosoque orientes, foliaque subglobosa, arte crebra, saturate olivaceo brunnea, punctis minutis prominentibus cinereis, ca. 4 mm longa, in culta luxuriante, sat humili, partes herbaceae glauce virides, conspicue punctatae, punctis prominentibus, vel demum viridia politaque; rami saepe 1.5 mm diam., internodiis onmino inclusis; folia adscendentia, duo paris inaequalia, alteram saepe 1-1.4 cm longum, ad 5 mm lata diametroque, alteram 0.7-1 cm longum, 3-4 mm lata diametroque, supra plana, carina eccentrica, latere altero convexo, altero plano, lat. visa superne saepe dilatata, obtusa vel subtruncata; flores solitarii; pedunculus compressus ebracteatus, ad 6 mm longus; alabastrum compressum, ad 9 mm diam.; receptaculum turbinatum, leviter compressum, 3 mm longum, 5 mm diam.; sepala 5, inaequalia, 2 exteriora 5-6 mm longa vel ultra, superne dilatata ad 2 mm diam., apice rotundata, cetera 3-4 mm longa; petala 3-seriata obtusa, inferne leviter attenuata, aurea, ad 8 mm longa, ad 1.5 mm lata; staminodia nulla; filamenta erecta conferta, inferne alba papillataque, superne cum antheris aureis, ad 5 mm longa; glandulae magnae subapproximatae crenulatae virides; ovarii lobi subcompressi, altitudinem glandularum haud attingentes; stigmata 5, gracilia, ad 6 mm longa. Perennial, dwarf shrublet, forming loose mats, up to 0.08 m high. Leaves succulent, semi-ovate, glaucous-green, rough with white warts, apex rounded. Flowers solitary, yellow. Flowering time Nov.?
