General notes: Fynbos biome. River/steam bank. Bare rock, in water. Running water. Black turf. Sandstone. Partial shade. Gentle slope. NW aspect. No biotic effect seen. Shrub. Flowers yellow, tubular. Fruit absent. Plant height 1.4m. Rooted in crevices of riverine rocks; wet even in summer. Fairly common, but only few in flower.

General notes: Fynbos vegetation. Anchored in fast flowing stream amongst stones/rocks (crevices) and 'kafferskuil' clumps. Shrub, 3m high, branched from the base. Two whitish stamens, whitish style. Lemon-yellow on outer and inside of tube of flower and and lobes. Whitish inside at base of tube. Fairly uncommon but widespread. Sepals green. No insects seen with plants. Louis (Kunje) Hanekom saw black "perdeby" at De Straadt, Koue Bokkeveld's population. Common name: "Wildeleeubekkie".

General notes: A multi-stemmed herb, 2m high. Fairly dense and densely leafed. Leaves pale green. Flowers pale green. Fairly common. Branches break easily. Common name: "Wildeleeubekkie". Branches more or less whorled.
