Sprawling, silvery woolly perennial with adventitiously rooting stems and erect flowering shoots to 35 cm. Leaves oblanceolate to lyrate-pinnatifid, densely white-felted. Flower heads radiate, solitary, disc black, rays cream-coloured or pale yellow with reddish reverse; outer bracts with woolly tail. Achenes with 2 elongate cavities. From: McKenzie, R. 2012.
