Morphological description

Succulent subshrub, old plants densely clumped, 30-80 mm tall, 50-120 mm diam., not deciduous. Leaf-pairs ± erect, dark dull green or fish-scaled, white (N of Eenriet), keeled, margins darker green or reddish (Gamoep). Flowers solitary, disproportionately large, petals dark yellow to ivory.
