Stem usually unbranched. Flowers purple, lilac, pink or occasionally creamy green, outer tepals limbs with prominent purple or turquoise green nectar guides, spreading, often slightly below horizontal, claws yellow; outer tepals 30-40 x 20-25 mm, claws 8-12 mm long.
