Morphological description

Dwarf, rounded or cushion-forming, caudiciform shrublet, with highly branched stem, up to 100 mm tall. Leaves crowded at branch tips, obovoid or clavate, 15-40 x 6-8 mm, highly succulent. Flowerheads solitary on peduncles 25-60 mm long, radiate, yellow; involucre campanulate, 6-8 mm diam., bracts 6-8, 5-6 x 1-1.5 mm. Cypselas ± 2 mm long, pubescent; pappus ± 3 mm long.
